Announcements

Team EARTH members are in the process of "taking over" the large planters in front of the D-building on Santiago's campus. We have cleared the weeds from one planter, removed "over-the-hill" herb and vegetable plants, and have diagrammed a plan for D and C buildings. The future wood chip pathways have been marked, dug, and are now ready for newly purchased recycled composite edging (660 feet) and 120 cubic feet of woodchips. When the materials arrive, Team EARTH members will be invited to assemble, spread, construct, and plant fruit trees and vegetables. Come and be a part of our adventure as we turn our campus into an edible landscape.

Team EARTH members and sponsors are currently involved with the following activities:

1. Meeting in C107 (Mr Pitts' room) on Tuesdays during both 1st & 2nd lunch periods. Get or bring your lunch and we will meet and organize for the actions of the club.
2. Gardening in the two planters in front of the D-Building Thursdays and Mondays right after school for about 1 hour.
